濟南這座氣質(zhì)靈秀的北方城市有湖的明媚，山的端莊，更有泉的靈動。外地游客到濟南會發(fā)現(xiàn)這樣一幕令人稱奇的景象：一大清早，老濟南人便排著長隊到取水點接水，有的用繩子拴著塑料水壺、水桶，到泉池邊打水，場面十分壯觀，“泉城”的稱號也在此刻有了具象。
As a beautiful northern city, Jinan has clear lakes, dignified mountains and also agile springs. Tourists here will find such an amazing scene: In early morning,the locals come to get water from assigned place standing in a long line. Some use plastic kettles or buckets tied with ropes on them, which is quite impressive. The name of “Spring City” is well explained atthis moment.
濟南人打水技巧一流：他們將繩子系在容器上，然后甩出一個漂亮的拋物線到池內(nèi)的泉口，慢慢接滿泉水，再穩(wěn)穩(wěn)地“釣”上來，最后帶著大自然的饋贈心滿意足地回家去了。
Jinan people are skillful at getting water. They tie a rope to the container, and throw it to the mouth of the spring pool in a beautiful parabola, slowly fill it with spring water and steadily lift it up. Finally, with the gift of nature, they go home contentedly.
“先觀后用”，濟南的泉水不僅是吸引游客紛至沓來的景觀，也是家家戶戶的心頭好。濟南市的泉水直飲工程建設(shè)，讓“家家泉水戶戶直飲”涌入“尋常百姓家”，至2024年末將會覆蓋用戶80萬人。
Being both watchable and drinkable, springs in Jinan are not only attractions for tourists but also indispensable for local people. The construction of Directly Drinking Project in Jinan allows residents to get access of directly drinking the spring water and will cover 800,000 users by the end of 2024.

Interestingly, the spring water here is able to keep its temperature at 18 degrees Celsius even in winter. So the local people here are able to drink such spring water the whole year.
濟南人在“保泉”這件事上，也做得比誰都認真！隨著城市規(guī)模的逐漸擴大，人口增多，用水量也越來越大。為了避免過度開發(fā)地下水資源，政府采取了一系列“保泉”措施包括控采地下水、在泉水補給區(qū)開展生態(tài)修護和環(huán)境整治等，如此珍惜才得以造就了今日持續(xù)噴涌、源源不斷的“清泉之城”。
Jinan people are more serious than anyone else in protecting their springs! As Jinan’s scale and urban population grow rapidly, the demand for water increased. To avoid over-exploitation of groundwater resources, the local government took steps to protect the springs including the control of groundwater extraction, ecological restoration and environmental remediation in the recharging areas. Such protection makes sure that Jinan’s springs are flowing freely and constantly.
